The new year 2013 is approaching inexorably, it is time to buy holiday gifts for loved ones, relatives, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, children ... On the one hand, this New Year's running around causes pleasant emotions, creates an atmosphere of a miracle, and on the other, buying gifts is an exhausting business requiring a lot of free time. Choosing a New Year's gift, you need to take into account the tastes and preferences, occupation and hobbies of the person to whom you are going to present a gift.
Information portal "Women's Opinion" decided to find out how much this year the Russians plan to spend on New Year's presents to relatives and friends.
The results of the study showed that 18.7% of women surveyed do not plan to spend money on gifts. But this does not mean that they do not plan to congratulate their loved ones. On the contrary, instead of a banal purchase gift, they are going to do something with their own hands or some other pleasant surprise in order to arouse in the hearts of their loved ones the joy of an original gift for memory.
Another 28% of women will spend up to 1000 rubles on New Year's gifts. For them, a gift has a purely symbolic meaning; it is a special form of expression of feelings. A gift with a hidden meaning to a loved one, even at a low cost, can be of great value to the person to whom it is intended.
A third of the respondents (33.7%) are willing to spend from 1000 to 5000 rubles for New Year's gifts. That is what their financial capabilities allow.
And only about 20% of women are ready to spend more than 5 thousand rubles on New Year's gifts. 10.3% will spend from 5,000 to 10,000 rubles, and another 9.3% of respondents admitted that they agree to spend more than 10,000 rubles on gifts. Noting at the same time that expensive gifts are only suitable for loved ones and relatives. Gifts for colleagues and distant relatives are supposed to be quite inexpensive.
Summing up the results of the survey, I would like to note that regardless of the price, New Year's gifts are not a duty, but primarily a sign of respect and attention to a dear person. Choosing New Year's souvenirs, show imagination, taste and ingenuity and your gift will always bring joy to a loved one. Let the approaching New Year be for you not only a period of new expectations, but also a time of magical accomplishments and positive changes!
The survey involved 1170 women from 129 cities of Russia aged 20 to 45 years.
