Chips appetizer - general cooking principles

Snacks need even and large chips. It is better to take products of the same shape, usually they are sold in tubes or in boxes. When using soft bags there will be a lot of crumbs and waste. Chips are usually simply laid out in one layer on a flat dish, filled with filling on top.

How to cook snacks:

• crab sticks, caviar, seafood;

• salted, smoked, canned fish;

• meat or poultry of various types;

• fresh, canned vegetables;

• eggs, cheese of various types, cottage cheese.

For taste, spices, herbs, garlic are added to the fillings. In fact, it turns out a salad. The only moment - it should not be too wet and juicy. Therefore, very little sauce is used for dressing, it may be mayonnaise or sour cream. If the filling is wet, then the chips will quickly become sour, taking a snack from a plate will not work. It is for this reason that it is not necessary to cook such dishes in advance, it is better to collect just before the feast or even during it.

Chips temptation snack

A variant of a delicious snack on chips with crab sticks, cheese and tomatoes. It is prepared very simply, you do not need to boil anything, the process will take no more than fifteen minutes if the sticks are thawed.

Ingredients

• chips;

• medium sized tomato;

• 1.5 tablespoons of mayonnaise;

• 1 processed cheese;

• 6 sticks;

• 3-4 branches of dill.

Cooking

1. Cut into small cubes crab sticks and cream cheese. You can rub it, put it all in a bowl.

2. Chop dill, add to the filling.

3. Cut the tomato into several parts, carefully remove the seeds with watery contents with a spoon. If this is not done, the vegetable will produce a lot of juice, the chips will quickly become sour.

4. Cut the pulp of the tomato into small cubes, pour into the total mass.

5. Add mayonnaise, you can additionally squeeze a clove of garlic, mix thoroughly. If necessary, then put salt and pepper, it is better to try.

6. Fill the chips with the cooked salad, put on a dish, immediately send to the table.

Chicken miracle chips appetizer with cucumber

A variant of cheese snack on chips, which can be cooked in a spicy version, if you add more garlic. Cheese can be used processed or hard, but you will have to adjust the amount of sour cream. Cucumber is used fresh.

Ingredients

• 150 g of cheese;

• one small cucumber;

• clove of garlic;

• a little dill;

• one egg;

• 80 g sour cream;

• salt, chips.

Cooking

1. Grate cheese and a clove of garlic, also chop one boiled egg, put it all in a bowl convenient for stirring the ingredients.

2. Add chopped dill.

3. Cut the cucumber into small cubes, put in cheese and egg.

4. Add sour cream, stir. If it is liquid, then you do not need to spread everything at once, put and stir. You can replace sour cream with mayonnaise.

6. Fill chips, put on plates. For decoration, you can use small branches of dill or thin circles of cucumber.

Chips Mediterranean Appetizer

A chic shrimp and avocado appetizer. For cooking, you need a little mayonnaise to connect the products, you can use sour cream.

Ingredients

• avocado;

• a tomato;

• 0.5 bunch of parsley;

• 70 g peeled shrimp;

• 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;

• 70 g of cheese.

Cooking

1. Make an incision on the avocado along, reaching the very bone, crank, break. Stick the knife into the bone, take out. Cut the flesh into small pieces. If it is very soft, then just knead with a fork.

2. Rub the cheese. We send to the avocado.

3. Cut the tomato, chop the parsley and also shift it into the salad. Add a little mayonnaise, stir.

4. Fill the chips with the cooked mass. We put one or two shrimps on top, depending on their size and the amount available.

Italian appetizer on chips "Viva" with salmon

In fact, for such a snack you can use not only salmon, but cheaper pink salmon will also work. This fish will also turn out deliciously.

Ingredients

• 100 g of salmon;

• two eggs;

• potato chips;

• 100 g of cheese;

• 1 tsp Basilica

• 3 tbsp. l mayonnaise;

• small tomato;

• olives for decoration;

• parsley for decoration.

Cooking

1. Cut the eggs very finely, add the grated cheese to them, season with mayonnaise, basil, mix thoroughly, the products are empty until they are soaked.

2. Cut one small tomato into cubes, discard the liquid with seeds, transfer to the bulk.

3. Cut red fish and also shift into a snack, stir again. Add spices to taste.

4. Fill the chips with fish mass.

5. Top with one olive and a leaf of parsley. If there are few olives, then you can cut in half. You can also use a small and thin slice of lemon for decoration.

Korean Carrot Chips Appetizer

This is perhaps the most flavorful version of the snack on chips. For cooking, you can use any Korean carrots, with or without additives.

Ingredients

• 120 g of Korean carrots;

• 150 g of ham or low-fat sausage;

• 80 g of cheese;

• mayonnaise, greens, chips.

Cooking

1. Squeeze the carrots out of excess moisture, transfer to a regular chopping board and cut with a knife so that the straw is not too long.

2. Finely chop the sausage. It is better to make a thin straw, which will harmoniously combine with carrots, shift.

3. Grate a piece of cheese into the total mass.

4. Chop any greens of your choice, but you can cook the filling without it or use it only for decoration.

5. Season the salad with mayonnaise.

6. Put on the chips one teaspoon of the filling, decorate with herbs and the snack is ready!

Chips fish appetizer

To prepare such an appetizer, canned pink salmon is used, but if desired we take other fish, it will also turn out delicious.

Ingredients

• two eggs;

• one can of pink salmon;

• a bunch of green onions;

• 50 g of cheese;

• salt, mayonnaise, chips.

Cooking

1. Boil eggs, pour cold water, after cooling, peel, cut into small cubes.

2. Open a jar of pink salmon, take out pieces of fish, remove the seeds and knead well with a fork. Do not use liquid. Lay to the eggs.

3. Grate cheese into the total mass. You can use absolutely any variety or several.

4. Chop the onion, pour over to the fish. Stir the products together, add a little mayonnaise.

5. Put the cooked mass on chips, decorate to your liking.

Chicken and nut chips appetizer

An option of a very satisfying snack on chips, which is prepared exclusively with walnuts. Other types cannot be used.

Ingredients

• 400 g chicken;

• spices, chips, herbs;

• 100 g of nuts;

• 70 g of onions;

• 2 tbsp. l oils;

• pomegranate seeds for decoration.

Cooking

1. Put the chicken fillet in a pan, add a little water so that the liquid barely covers the product. Put on the stove, boil for 25-30 minutes.

2. Remove the chicken, cool, but do not pour the broth, we need it.

3. Dice the onion. Fry in vegetable or butter until cooked.

4. Put the nuts on a dry skillet. We also fry them to remove excess moisture and improve flavor.

5. Cut the chicken into slices, add onions, which were previously fried, and pour the nuts. Pour in a little broth and grind it all into a paste. If the mass is thick, then we add the broth.

6. Add spices to taste, chopped herbs. It is not necessary to grind it so that the color of the snack does not change.

7. We lay out the chicken mass on chips, decorate with pomegranate seeds or just fresh herbs.

Chips Treasure Island Snack

Another recipe for appetizers on chips with crab sticks, but also with caviar. It turns out very tasty and juicy.

Ingredients

• 200 g sticks;

• 2 tbsp. l mayonnaise;

• 100 g chips;

• 100 g of cheese;

• 50 g of red caviar;

• lettuce.

Cooking

1. Cheese for this snack can be cut into small cubes, straws or just grated. Pour crushed product into a bowl.

2. If frozen sticks are used, then let them thaw in advance. Then cut into cubes, pour into the prepared cheese.

3. Add mayonnaise, stir.

4. Lay the lettuce leaves on flat plates. You can use Chinese cabbage.

5. We lay the prepared mixture on even chips.

6. Immediately shift to prepared plates.

7. Top with red caviar. If there is no natural product, then imitation can be used. Combined with crab sticks, it will still turn out delicious.

Chips appetizer - useful tips and tricks

• Mayonnaise is found in almost every recipe, but it is a rather fatty product, in combination with chips, the snack turns out to be very high-calorie. To at least slightly reduce the energy value, you can replace mayonnaise with sour cream, natural yogurt, or at least slightly dilute.

• Snack on chips is not stored for a long time, as they become sour. But the salad can be prepared in advance, closed, refrigerated. Filling chips will not require much time, it can be done at the right time.

• According to the rules, only those products that are present in a dish are used for decoration. That is, if there is no pickle, then it is better not to add it. Exception: nuts, herbs, olives.
