There are many different citrus fruits and their relatives, in addition to lemon and orange for desserts you can use tangerines, grapefruits, pomelo, sweetmeat, lime. And this is not the whole list. In most recipes, one citrus can be replaced with another species. Usually they are used fresh, as they are available all year round, perfectly stored.

What else is used in desserts:

• cottage cheese, sour cream and other dairy products;

• fruits, berries, juices, compotes, liquors;

• chocolate, sweets, various dragees;

• cookies, biscuits, waffles;

• products for baking.

In desserts, not only the pulp of citrus, but also the zest can be used. Very often jelly treats are made from oranges, they need gelatin. There are even jelly-based cake recipes, one of which can be found just below.

Creamy peeled citrus dessert

A variant of a stunning citrus dessert in orange peel. Additionally, you need a little lemon juice. Strawberries can be used canned.

Ingredients

• 4 oranges;

• 0.5 lemon;

• 40 grams drain. oils;

• 200 ml of fat cream;

• 9 tbsp. l Sahara;

• 100 g of strawberries;

• 2 tbsp. l powder

• 2 tbsp. l flour.

Cooking

1. Thoroughly wash the oranges, cut each in half, remove all the flesh, leaving the citrus cups.

4. Pour the orange mass into the flour, stir quickly so that the lumps do not form. Cook until thickened, you get a citrus custard. Cool.

5. Spread the cream in halves of an orange. Put in the refrigerator so that it still freezes.

6. Whip fat cream into foam, add icing sugar.

7. Now you need to put the cream on the orange cream. It is better to use a pastry bag with a nozzle, it will turn out beautifully.

Citrus dessert with cookies and cottage cheese

• 300 g of citruses;

• 300 g of cottage cheese;

• 100 ml of milk;

• 1 tbsp. l grated chocolate.

Cooking

1. Peel citruses, cut into arbitrary pieces, as you like. You can slices or circles. It is advisable to remove all white villi and thick films.

2. It is better to take the curd fat, grind it with sugar, season with sour cream and vanilla.

3. Moisten cookies in milk, but do not hold for a long time, just dip them. Put on the bottom of the bowl.

7. Use a sharp knife to chop the halves of the oranges with the jelly slices, put on a plate and the citrus dessert is ready! Such slices look very interesting if you fill the halves of oranges with juices of different colors.

Citrus dessert cake without baking

Variant of a simple cake without baking. Here are some products for a small citrus dessert. At will, we proportionally increase several times.

Ingredients

• 4 tsp gelatin;

• 4 tbsp. l Sahara;

• 300 grams of cottage cheese;

• 3 oranges;

• 250 ml cream;

• 150 ml of orange juice.

Cooking

1. Pour gelatin with half a glass of water, let it swell for now.

2. Wipe the cottage cheese, add the orange juice in parts, beat well.

3. Beat cream in a steaming foam, add sugar.

4. Combine the cream with the curd mass, gently stir.

5. Melt gelatin, add to the curd mass.

6. Peel oranges, cut into circles.

7. Cover the shape with a film, lay out slices of oranges on the bottom and sides.

8. Put the mass of cottage cheese with cream, smooth. If the pieces of oranges remain, then we also lay them out, slightly deepen.

9. Put the dessert for four hours in the refrigerator.

10. After completely hardening, cover the mold with a flat plate and gently turn the cake over.

11. Remove the film, the cake does not need decoration.

Citrus dessert with biscuit

Why not make a citrus pie for dessert. This is something similar to charlotte, but only incredible fragrant, light, with a bright taste and color. It uses tangerines with oranges, but you can take one type of citrus.

Ingredients

• 4 eggs;

• large orange;

• 3 tangerines;

• 160 g of sugar;

• 130 g flour;

• 7 grams of cultivator;

• a pinch of vanilla.

Cooking

1. You need to immediately turn on the oven to warm up, since everything else is preparing very quickly. Set the temperature to 180.

2. Immediately grease the form, sprinkle flour on top or just cover it with parchment, baking paper.

3. Wash citruses. Remove the zest from one orange and one mandarin. This is best done with a fine grater so as not to chop anything else.

4. Peel citruses, sort into slices. Leave the tangerines whole, cut the oranges in half.

5. Sift the flour with a baking cultivator to sift, introduce vanillin and previously prepared zest.

6. Mix sugar and eggs, turn on the mixer, beat all this for 5-7 minutes at the highest speed.

7. Introduce the zest flour, stir the dough.

8. Add slices of citruses, stir again.

9. Transfer the mass to the prepared form, send to the oven.

Citrus Dessert with Mascarpone

It uses oranges, but you can also take other types of citrus, but not sour. That is, lemons and limes will not work. Dessert has a spectacular appearance and noble taste, suitable for a festive table.

Ingredients

• 150 grams of mascarpone;

• 90 g of powder;

• 1 spoon of regular sugar (you can take brown);

• 300 ml of orange juice;

• 2 oranges;

• 1 tbsp. l gelatin;

• 200 ml cream (fatty).

Cooking

1. Rinse the oranges thoroughly and gently peel from one. Cut into even strips.

2. Pour a spoonful of sugar and a spoonful of water into the pan, put the prepared crusts and warm it all, that is, caramelize. As soon as the caramel flavor appears, put the pieces of the zest in a strainer, let cool.

3. Squeeze the juice from one orange, combine it with gelatin, set aside for about twenty minutes. The exact time of infusion is indicated by the manufacturer on the package.

4. The second orange also peel, break into slices. Then remove each film, cut into small pieces. You can immediately put in a bowl for dessert.

5. Melt the swollen gelatin, combine with orange juice, stir and pour slices of citrus in vases.

6. Put the dessert in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

7. Beat cream with powder, add mascarpone. If desired, add cream with vanilla or any aromatic liquor.
