Popular writer Alexandra Marinina spoke frankly about her personal life and why she never had children.

Marinina first married at the age of 19 and divorced four years later. Later, the writer met her great love - married Sergei Zatochko (his name Alexander gave one of the heroes of her novels about Nastya Kamensky), who had a small son. The man immediately warned Marinin, who was in love with him, that he would not leave the family until the son became adult. The writer waited for 8 years and married only 40 years old.

Marinina admitted that the first marriage was not ready for the birth of a child. She believes that having children at that age is irresponsible. And having met with Sergey, she decided that she did not want to tie him to her baby, because the husband was already a child and Alexander did not want her husband to be torn between her and the former family. And then, the writer admits, it was too late to have a baby.
