Treatment of any type of lichen involves a visit to a specialist. Only a dermatologist is able to accurately establish the diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

In some cases, lichen does not require treatment at all, and sometimes it is necessary to use antiviral or antifungal ointments, undergo immunity restoration, and acupuncture.

Treatment depriving folk remedies - tar

An oily, viscous liquid with a pungent odor - tar, although not very pleasant when used, is incredibly effective. The composition of tar includes substances that have the strongest antimicrobial, antiseptic, antiparasitic, analgesic effect.

Tar is able to relieve inflammation, reduce itching. This is time tested. On the basis of tar, Vishnevsky and Wilkilson ointment is prepared - an effective remedy for suppurating wounds, as well as tar soap.

Tar is not recommended to be used without consulting a specialist. With such serious ailments as acute eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, folliculitis tar should be taken very carefully.

If you apply a large amount of this tool and withstand it for a long period, then complications are possible in the form of nausea, vomiting, dizziness, convulsions.

Worth to know! The first minutes after applying the tar, burning sensation is felt, and the itching disappears. If after a short time the discomfort disappears, feel free to continue the therapy.

Before using a folk remedy, lichen should be to test to an allergic reaction.

So, the most effective tar-based recipes. Prepare a healing ointment. To do this, combine in a 1: 1 ratio tar with softened butter. Rub the mixture into sore spots, and fix with a bandage on top. It is best to do the procedure at night (due to the sharp smell of tar).

Another recipe: combine pure tar (150 g) with the yolks of two eggs. Add cream (100 g) to the mixture and mix well. Use this product to lubricate the stains 2 times a day.

Treatment depriving with folk remedies - we select the prescription individually

1. Garlic - The strongest antiviral product. Wipe the affected areas of the skin with garlic juice at least 2 times a day.

Do not use garlic pulp as a remedy to prevent burns.

In addition, lichen can be treated well with tincture of garlic. It’s easy to cook. First, grind the product in a way convenient for you, preferably avoiding metal utensils. Pour 100 g of mass with castor oil (1 cup) and send the mixture to simmer in the oven for at least 3 hours.

After the allotted time, cool and strain everything. Apply to lubricate skin lesions twice a day.

2. Tinea versicolor hydrogen peroxidetreating wounds with 5% solution. After the procedure, peels are visible, which must be lubricated with erythromycin ointment.

3. Getting rid of itchy red spots will help Apple vinegar. They use both self-cooked product, and the so-called “store version”.

How to use vinegar? Wet gauze wipes in this product and apply them more often throughout the day to itchy surfaces.

4. Combine over a tablespoon salt and soda - substances that no doubt every housewife has in the kitchen. Mix the ingredients well with a little water. The mixture should resemble sour cream.

Rub the remedy for depriving into damaged areas of the skin up to 3 times a day.

5. Celandine - a plant whose name speaks for itself. It is actively used in the treatment of lichen. In season, you can lubricate sore spots with fresh celandine juice, and in winter use tincture prepared in summer.

In addition, in the summer period it is necessary to prepare a healing ointment from the juice of the plant and melted lard (1: 1). With this tool, lichen is lubricated 2 times a day. Store it in the refrigerator.

6. For the treatment of ringworm, which often infects children from animals, it is recommended to use propolis tincture. Prepare a healing potion like this: combine 50 g of finely chopped bee product with a bottle of medical alcohol (200 g). Allow the product to brew for about a week in a closet away from children, and then use it as directed.

7. Pink lichen is treated, it would seem, strange method. But still. Roll the old newspaper into a roll and drag it with threads (for fortress). Place the newspaper "tower" on a plate and set fire to the top. Wait for the whole roll to burn. As a result, the dark brown liquid, which is the remedy for lichen, will be clearly visible on the plate.

Use it to lubricate sore spots while it is warm. Treat at least 3 times.

8. You can alleviate the condition of a child with lichen planus with sea ​​buckthorn oil. Wet gauze napkins in it and apply therapeutic compresses to the areas affected by the disease.

In addition, you can use sea buckthorn oil inside with food. Dose - 1 teaspoon per day.

9. An excellent remedy for lichen is an ointment from a decoction of medicinal herbs: calendula, hop and burdock flowers. Prepare the healing composition in this way: grind all the components, combine them in equal parts, pour boiling water and put to cook for several minutes.

After cooling and filtering, add the usual pharmacy to the broth petroleum jelly (2 parts to 1 part of the decoction). Mix everything well. The ointment is ready! Use it as one of the most effective remedies against lichen.

10. Good results in the treatment of lichen bring lotions or baths from the infusion of healing herbs. Pour boiling water over any available plant: celandine, wormwood, tansy, lilac leaves. Cover the dishes with the infusion with a towel and go about your business. After some time, use the product as directed.

In addition to the herbs described, you can use infusion of birch buds. Pour a glass of raw water with boiling water and simmer a little over low heat. After the manipulations associated with cooling and filtering, use the infusion as lotions.

Based on birch buds, ointment can be prepared - an effective remedy for lichen. Combine lard (melted) and birch buds. Take 500 g of sala and 1 cup of kidneys. Place the mixture in a clay pot and send for 3 hours in the oven. After the composition has cooled slightly, remove the kidneys and drain the fat into a glass pharmacy container.

About birch buds I want to say separately. They are famous for their antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, wound healing properties. Extremely useful baths with a decoction of birch buds. They can be used if the skin itches with dermatitis or eczema.

11. An excellent anti-inflammatory effect in lichen planus has an infusion of herbs such as St. John's wort, succession, calamus root (they are taken in 3 parts) horsetail, elderberry, corn stigmas, lingonberry leaf (take 2 parts) and illustrious celandine (1 part).

Before preparing the potion herbs, rub well with your hands and make 2 tablespoons of 0.5 l of boiling water at the rate of boiling water. Place the container with the medicine on the stove and boil for a couple of minutes.

Then everything is as usual. Cool, strain and consume inside half a glass 3 times a day all month.

12. Pityriasis versicolor is treated burdock oil. It is sold ready-made or made independently. Use this alternative treatment for depriving at least 2 times a day, treating affected areas of the skin with it.

13. Accelerate pink lichen therapy with decoction of horsetail, rose petals, blackberry leaf, calendula flowers, willow bark.

Preparing the composition is easy: combine all the components (in equal parts). Do not forget to grind them beforehand and wipe them with your hands. Pour 2 tablespoons of the collection with boiling water (300 ml) and, as in the above recipe, boil for several minutes over low heat.

When the mixture cools, strain it and, wetting the gauze in the composition, apply compresses to the sore spots.

Lichen prophylaxis

In order to prevent the occurrence of the disease, follow simple recommendations:

1. Avoid skin injuries whenever possible. If damage occurs, use antiseptic agents in a timely manner.

2. Use personal hygiene products: comb, washcloth, towel. Do not wear other people's hats.

3. Introduce antiviral products into the diet. Those are onions, garlic, lemon, carrots, beets. When cooking, use spices and herbs.

4. From time to time, take preventive antiviral measures, periodically consuming infusions of such popular herbs as galangal, oregano, lemon balm, lingonberry leaf, tansy, and thyme.

5. Avoid dealing with stray cats and dogs.

6. Wash your hands whenever you return home and use the toilet.

7. Try not to be cold or nervous.

8. If you are taking antibiotics, then drink drugs that protect the intestinal microflora.

9. When working in the courtyard of your own home or in the country, wear simple protective equipment - gloves.

Try not to start the disease. At the first symptoms, iodine sometimes helps well. Lubricate affected skin areas.
