Grilled squids - general cooking principles

Ingredients

• 1 kg of squid;

• 1 bunch of greenery;

• 0.5 lemon;

• 3 tbsp. l granulated sugar;

• 2 laurels;

• 3 tbsp. l apple cider vinegar;

• 2 tbsp. l sea ​​salt;

• 5 peas of pepper.

Cooking

1. Boil water with salt, sugar, remove from heat. Add laurel, peas and hot vinegar to the marinade. Stir, cool for ten minutes. The heat from the marinade should go.

2. Immerse the cleaned squid carcasses into the solution. Cover. Leave to marinate until the marinade is completely cooled, but it can be longer.

3. Prepare the grill.

4. Take the squid out of the marinade immediately before frying so that the carcasses do not dry out. Wring out excess water.

5. Put the squid on the grill, which must be heated to the highest temperature. Or wait until the coals are well heated.

6. Cook a couple of mines on each side, then immediately transfer to the plate.

Grilled squids with garlic and thyme

A recipe for saturated, aromatic grilled squids, prepared with sprigs of thyme. It is important that the greens are fresh. This dish is good to cook in a grill pan.

Ingredients

• 1 kg of squid;

• 10 branches of thyme;

• a pair of garlic cloves;

• 50 ml of olive oil;

• 0.5 lemon;

• salt pepper.

Cooking

1. Prepare squid: peel, rinse, remove cartilage.

2. Peel the garlic cloves. You can crush, chop or grate. Put in a bowl.

3. Add to the garlic a couple of a pinch of salt, pepper, squeeze lemon juice and grind this mixture well so that the spices dissolve and highlight the aroma.

4. Add vegetable oil. It is better to use olive. But if there is no such oil, you can take sunflower.

5. Stir all the marinade ingredients, grate previously prepared carcasses inside and out.

6. Rinse the thyme branches, shake off all the droplets from them, put on a board and cut into several parts.

7. Put half the greens on the bottom of the bowl, squid on it, sprinkle the remaining thyme on top. Stand for at least 30 minutes.

8. Remove the squid from a bowl, transfer to a skillet or any other grill, bake until golden brown.

Grilled squids with Teriyaki sauce

If there is Teriyaki sauce, then nothing else is needed for grilled squids. This beautiful product combines with it, ennobles taste, emphasizes aroma.

Ingredients

• 4 squid;

• salt pepper;

• teriyaki;

• 1 tablespoon of oil;

• lettuce, olives.

Cooking

1. Grate pre-cleaned squid carcasses with a mixture of salt and pepper. But you can take some seasoning for the fish. Set aside for half an hour.

2. Sprinkle the carcasses with vegetable oil, just a little bit.

3. Transfer to a heated grill, cook for two minutes on each side.

4. Line the salad leaves on the dish, transfer the squid from the grill.

5. We transfer teriyaki sauce into a bag, make a small hole, squeeze it onto a squid, draw strips or a net.

Grilled squids in a spicy marinade

A recipe for a delicious marinade, which is suitable not only for squid, but also for any other seafood, fish. Moreover, the marinade can immediately serve as a sauce to the dish. You can make it bigger and serve in a separate bowl.

Ingredients

• 5 squid;

• 2 bell peppers;

• 1 pod of chili;

• 0.5 bunch of parsley;

• 2 cloves of garlic;

• 60 ml of soy sauce;

• 0.5 tsp ginger

• lemon or vinegar.

Cooking

1. Free pods of peppers from everything superfluous, cut into slices, transfer to a blender bowl or into a bowl into which you can load the appliance.

2. Peel the cloves of garlic, send after the pepper.

3. Now add the washed, dried parsley greens along with the branches, nothing needs to be cut.

4. Add a little ginger there, pour soy sauce.

5. Beat all this with a blender for a couple of minutes to make the marinade homogeneous.

6. At the very end, you need to add juice from half a lemon. But you can pour a little apple or table vinegar. Mix.

7. Wash the squid, clean and rub on all sides with the prepared sauce.

8. We lay the carcasses on top of each other, cover and leave for an hour.

9. Transfer the products to the grill, bring to readiness.

10. Serve a dish with the same sauce or add vegetables. Teriyaki goes well with this dish.

Grilled squid salad with cherry tomatoes

The recipe is very tasty and quick to prepare grilled squid salad. In addition to cherry tomatoes, he will also need arugula.

Ingredients

• 4 squid;

• 50 grams of fresh arugula;

• 200 g of cherry;

• 5 tablespoons of olive oil;

• 1 clove of garlic;

• 2 tbsp. l peeled pumpkin seeds;

• 2 tbsp. l lemon juice;

• 1 chili pepper;

• 10 olives;

• 1 pinch of lemon peel.

Cooking

1. Grate squids with salt and pepper, grease with butter, put carcasses on any existing grill, bring to readiness. Take off.

2. Combine lemon juice, chopped chili pepper, peeled clove of garlic, zest and chop with a blender. Add olive oil to the sauce, salt and mix.

3. Rinse, dry the greens, tear the arugula with your hands, put in a salad bowl.

4. Squid cut into strips, but not finely. Mix with arugula.

• If frozen squid is used, do not use a microwave or warm room for thawing. It is better to leave the product in the refrigerator. Thawing will take longer, but the carcasses will remain juicy, vitamins will remain.

• You can put some other product inside the carcass, but the fillings do not need too much and it must certainly be ready for use.

• The squid will not be fried to a delicious crust, if the carcass is wet, there is a lot of water on it. It is necessary to remove all visible droplets with napkins.

• Do not use tomatoes or any other tomato sauces for marinating squid; with them, the seafood is hard. It is better to use baked or fresh tomatoes additionally when serving.
